We had an unforgettable experience celebrating my beloved husband's special birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and inviting ambience. The staff were incredibly attentive, fast, and friendly, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the evening. Every single dish we ordered exceeded our expectations — beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and cooked to perfection. I had a wonderful experience here. The Sundubu Jjigae Beef and Sundubu Jjigae Seafood were absolutely the best! The owner even mentioned that customers can adjust the spiciness and saltiness according to their preference, which I think is a really nice touch. My kids had the Beef Miyeokguk Bap, and it was so delicious — perfect for children. So far, every dish we tried was really tasty and well-suited to the Malaysian palate. The only thing is that the dining environment can feel a bit hot since the restaurant is open-air. It would be even better if it was air-conditioned. On top of that, the CEO and COO were very friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Thumbs up! Love it so much!

Loved the authentic taste here! We tried the rose tteokbokki, japchae, and ramyeon. all freshly made and full of flavour. The rose tteokbokki was creamy with just the right spice, japchae perfectly seasoned and chewy! Halal-friendly and cozy ambience. Definitely a must-try for Muslim foodies craving authentic Korean flavours!

I ordered two dishes that turned out to be satisfying. The first one was a rice bowl topped with a fried egg, beef, and fresh veggies like carrots, cucumber, and lettuce. The beef was tender and flavorful. The second dish was noodles with black bean sauce. The sauce was thick, savory, and slightly sweet. The cafe itself has a warm, retro vibe decorations.. It’s a great spot to enjoy a casual meal. Overall, I’d say the food is good and worth coming back for!

Staff is very friendly, the ceo even served us personally and explained the background of the food. The food is good and uses healthy ingredients, without msg. Soondobu jjigae - tastes quite familiar and it is fresh. Balanced between salty and savory, not spicy. Portion is enough for 2 people. Japchae - tastes quite strong of the sesame oil, is more on the sweeter side. The glass noodle is very chewy. Added chili powder for spicyness Kimchi - fresh kimchi, easy to eat as it is not too sour and is a bit sweet. Green tea - uses green tea from korea, tastes very peanut-ty.

Overall, OmmaSon is a solid spot for Korean food lovers, especially those looking for home-style comfort dishes in the Kajang area. I’d definitely consider returning to try more of their menu.

Our family dinner tonight is awesome. the food is very comforting & authentic (Jjgae our comfort food during rainy day) The main dishes is Jirom highly recommended. Semuanya memang sedap. A+ ! P/S : thank you to the CEO for assist us with the ordering and served the food as well.

The jigae was really good! If you are used to korean food like dubuyo, the taste might throw you off at first as it's much milder. But after eating a while the taste starts to bloom and really grow on you. Japchae tasted very nice and smelled very fragrantly of sesame oil.
